I have returned from a sunny week in the most magical place on earth. Or so they say.
Not only did I go to a multitude of countries (Canada, UK, France, Morocco, Japan, Italy, China, Norway, Mexico, Germany), but I also spent a lot of time in Africa and Asia. Heck, I even left the Earth behind to navigate my way to Mars.
And who the heck knows on what dimensional plane Hogwarts exists.
Should I even dare to mention the time travel to the age of the dinosaurs? Without photographic proof, who would believe me?
Out of the 300+ photos on my phone, though, easily 300 are animals. Just not dinosaurs. So instead I will just leave you with a few of my favorite shots at what turned out to be my happy place in the land where dreams come true:

After nap time is lunch! I waited quite awhile for these puppies to do more than just snooze in the sun.

The rajah relaxing by his palatial pond.

Dude was just chillin’ by the waterfall, munching on something tasty.

Black rhino! Rare, endangered, and actually facing our direction. My parents have the camera roll of “identify this animal based solely on its backside.”

White rhino! That’s not a zoom shot. He was really that close.
And a little bonus, just for Mum:
